One Night in Karlshamn (En Kväll i Karlshamn) is a dance performance made in close collaboration with the people of Karlshamn in South of Sweden. The thing that unites everyone in this performance is their shared love for dance. One Night in Karlshamn makes space for dance lovers of many ages, experiences and body types to take to the stage and dance together. Some dances are solo, others are danced as a group. It is a night where dancing will be celebrated and the city of Karlshamn will dance like there is no tomorrow.

Ásrún and Alexander travel with the concept of ‘One night in….’ to meet different communities of different cities or towns around the world. It can work with such wildly different scales - a whole city, or a town, an elderly home, the staff of a theatre, and everything in between .
